This work was developed for the exhibition “NOW/THEN: Influences of Qing Dynasty Glass on Contemporary Glass Art” curated by Dr Shelly Xue and held at Shanghai Museum of Glass in 2014. I chose a pair of Qing-Dynasty-Chinese spectacles found in the British Museum Collection to represent our differing views of the world. (Read more → artist statement, preprint)
